{"id":12625,"date":"2021-03-26T06:27:28","date_gmt":"2021-03-26T13:27:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/exhaustnotes.us\/blog\/?p=12625"},"modified":"2021-03-26T06:28:13","modified_gmt":"2021-03-26T13:28:13","slug":"2022-klr-650-video","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/exhaustnotes.us\/blog\/index.php\/2021\/03\/26\/2022-klr-650-video\/","title":{"rendered":"2022 KLR 650 Video"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This flew into my mailbox last week from Kawasaki.\u00a0 I&#8217;m still on their mailing list (I purchased a new KLR 650 in 2006).\u00a0 I&#8217;ll let the video do the talking.<\/p>\n<p><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/bzM2aDVDo6Q\" width=\"644\" height=\"362\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>I had good times on my KLR. I don&#8217;t see another KLR in my future, but if the new model is as good as my 2006 KLR was, I think Kawasaki will do well with this motorcycle.\u00a0 \u00a0Both Gresh and I had thoughts about what the new model might feature; you can read those blogs <a href=\"http:\/\/exhaustnotes.us\/DreamBikes.html\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>If I were going to buy a new KLR (I&#8217;m not, but if I were), I would probably wait until the 2023 models were out.\u00a0 When Kawasaki introduced the Gen II KLR back in 2008, the 2008 bikes had oil consumption issues.\u00a0 Kawasaki had a recall (if I recall correctly) and they fixed the problem in the 2009 model.\u00a0 I think it&#8217;s best to let others work through the new model teething issues.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m guessing the full-freight new KLRs (luggage, ABS, etc.) will push $10K, which is roughly twice what a new <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ExhaustNotes.us\/RX4.html\">CSC RX4<\/a> costs, and for me, selecting the RX4 over the Kawasaki would be a no-brainer.\u00a0 For that kind of money, you could almost buy a new Sportster.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Never miss an ExNotes blog:\u00a0 Subscribe here for free!<\/p>\n\n<hr \/>\n<p>Want to see our predictions on what the new KLR would be?\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ExhaustNotes.us\/DreamBikes.html\">Just click here<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This flew into my mailbox last week from Kawasaki.\u00a0 I&#8217;m still on their mailing list (I purchased a new KLR 650 in 2006).\u00a0 I&#8217;ll let the video do the talking.
