{"id":16343,"date":"2022-05-27T05:10:41","date_gmt":"2022-05-27T12:10:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/exhaustnotes.us\/blog\/?p=16343"},"modified":"2022-05-27T05:10:41","modified_gmt":"2022-05-27T12:10:41","slug":"bajas-los-naranjos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/exhaustnotes.us\/blog\/index.php\/2022\/05\/27\/bajas-los-naranjos\/","title":{"rendered":"Baja&#8217;s Los Naranjos"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I have several favorite restaurants in Baja, and Los Naranjos in northern Baja&#8217;s Guadalupe Valley is certainly one of them.\u00a0 It&#8217;s address is M\u00e9xico 3 22850 Ensenada, Baja, and what that means is the restaurant is about 80 kilometers south of Tecate along Mexico Highway 3 (the <em>Ruta del Vino<\/em>). It&#8217;s on your right as you head south, and if you blink you&#8217;ll probably miss it.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_16846\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-16846\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-16846 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/exhaustnotes.us\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/MapNaranjos.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"601\" srcset=\"https:\/\/exhaustnotes.us\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/MapNaranjos.jpg 600w, https:\/\/exhaustnotes.us\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/MapNaranjos-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/exhaustnotes.us\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/MapNaranjos-150x150.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 709px) 85vw, (max-width: 909px) 67vw, (max-width: 984px) 61vw, (max-width: 1362px) 45vw, 600px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-16846\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The Los Naranjos location on Mexico Highway 3.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>If you&#8217;re coming north from Ensenada, Los Naranjos will be on your left.\u00a0 It always seems to me I&#8217;m on top of the place before I realize it when I&#8217;m riding north.\u00a0 You have to watch for it.<\/p>\n<p>After you park, head in through the arch and you&#8217;ll enter another world.\u00a0 The grounds are immaculate (like the restaurant).\u00a0 You can poke around and explore a bit before you go into the restaurant, or you can do so after you&#8217;ve had a fine meal (which is the only kind of meal I&#8217;ve ever had there).<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_16868\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-16868\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-16868 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/exhaustnotes.us\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/20190302_9561-600.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"899\" srcset=\"https:\/\/exhaustnotes.us\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/20190302_9561-600.jpg 600w, https:\/\/exhaustnotes.us\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/20190302_9561-600-200x300.jpg 200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 709px) 85vw, (max-width: 909px) 67vw, (max-width: 984px) 61vw, (max-width: 1362px) 45vw, 600px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-16868\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Entering the Los Naranjos grounds.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The food is exquisite and Los Naranjos is popular.\u00a0 You might see a Mexican riding club parked when you enter; the place is a well-known spot for an excellent dining experience.\u00a0 \u00a0You can have breakfast or any other meal, and I&#8217;ve never had a bad meal there.\u00a0 \u00a0Los Naranjos pies are exceptional, and their orange juice is off the charts.\u00a0 It&#8217;s fresh squeezed, and if there&#8217;s better OJ elsewhere, I haven&#8217;t found it.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_16869\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-16869\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-16869 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/exhaustnotes.us\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/20190302_9572-600.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"600\" srcset=\"https:\/\/exhaustnotes.us\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/20190302_9572-600.jpg 600w, https:\/\/exhaustnotes.us\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/20190302_9572-600-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/exhaustnotes.us\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/20190302_9572-600-150x150.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 709px) 85vw, (max-width: 909px) 67vw, (max-width: 984px) 61vw, (max-width: 1362px) 45vw, 600px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-16869\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">A superb breakfast at Los Naranjos. I&#8217;m getting hungry writing this blog and seeing this photo.
