I saw an ad last week that brought a smile to my face.\u00a0 It started off by asking:\u00a0 Are you one of those kids who used to ring doorbells and then run away?\u00a0 Then it panned to a photo of a UPS van and driver, and beneath that it said, “Well, we’re hiring.”<\/p>\n

Something like that happened to me today. \u00a0 I was busy tapping away on the next Destinations<\/a> piece for Motorcycle Classics<\/em> when I heard someone at the front door, and when I answered, the truck was pulling away.\u00a0 There were two packages waiting for me.<\/p>\n

Our good buddies at Z1 Enterprises<\/a>, the folks who are delivering superior components to Joe Gresh for his Kawi Z1 resurrection<\/a>, sent T-shirts to both Gresh and me.\u00a0 It’s cool. \u00a0 I’m going to wear it on the next Baja adventure.\u00a0 Good buddy Russ, thanks very much!<\/p>\n

The second package was from our good friends at Janus Motorcycles<\/a>.\u00a0 I spent several days with the Janus boys in Baja a couple of weeks ago<\/a> and I had a blast.\u00a0 Their package had a hat, a T-shirt, pins, and decals.\u00a0 Now I need the motorcycle to go with all this good stuff.\u00a0 Good buddies Grant, Devin, Richard, Jordan, and John, thanks to you, too!<\/p>\n
