target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Speed Is Expensive<\/a><\/em> yet, but you will be able to very soon.\u00a0 <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Speed-Expensive-Vincent-Million-Motorcycle\/dp\/B0C9TG4NTK\/?&amp;_encoding=UTF8&amp;tag=exhaustnotes-20&amp;linkCode=ur2&amp;linkId=d12d4521ac0f4eb47e7e4930f1681ff6&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=9325\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Speed Is Expensive<\/a><\/em> is the story of Philip Vincent and the Vincent motorcycle.\u00a0 \u00a0A Vincent was the first motorcycle ever to break the 150 mph barrier (Rollie Free was the bathing-trunks-only rider, who shed all other clothing and rode stretched out on the saddle to reduce drag), and a Vincent became the most expensive motorcycle ever when one sold at auction in 2018 for 1.2 million dollars.\u00a0 They are mythical motorcycles.<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"Official Speed is Expensive trailer narrated by Ewan McGregor\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Speed Is Expensive<\/a><\/em> on Amazon now.\u00a0 \u00a0I&#8217;m going to watch it as soon as it&#8217;s available.\u00a0 Watch for a review in the near future.<\/p>\n<p>Vincents have always had an aura of incredible power and exclusivity.\u00a0 I see them at the Hansen Dam Britbike meets in my part of the world (it&#8217;s where I grabbed the photo at the top of this blog and the others below).\u00a0 The\u00a0Hansen Dam events occur once or twice a year at Hansen Dam, about 70 miles from my home.\u00a0 All the photos you see here were from events in the 2004-2008 time frame, which means it&#8217;s been about 15 years since I&#8217;ve attended.\u00a0 I need to get out there again.<\/p>\n<p>I have a few more Vincent photos from Hansen
