(The Sevens)"},"content":{"rendered":"<h6>By Joe Berk<\/h6>\n<p>I thought I could skip this one in our <em>\u00bfQuantos Pistones?<\/em> series.\u00a0 \u00a0After all, who ever thought there could be a 7-cylinder motorcycle?<\/p>\n<p>But I was wrong.\u00a0 Much to my surprise, there are actually at least a couple of 7-cylinder motorcycles out there.\u00a0 I&#8217;ve never seen one, but they exist.\u00a0 One is comparable to the 5-cylinder machine based on the Kawasaki two-stroke engines; the other is an aircraft radial-engined affair.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-31551\" src=\"https:\/\/exhaustnotes.us\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/7-600.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"337\" srcset=\"https:\/\/exhaustnotes.us\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/7-600.jpg 600w, https:\/\/exhaustnotes.us\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/7-600-300x169.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 709px) 85vw, (max-width: 909px) 67vw, (max-width: 984px) 61vw, (max-width: 1362px) 45vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The JRL Cycles Lucky 7 used an engine originally intended to be a replacement engine for aircraft that used a radial engine.\u00a0 They only built four of these (one prototype and three production bikes).\u00a0 \u00a0It&#8217;s an interesting footnote in any discussion of motorcycle powerplants, I guess.\u00a0 But the thing looks goofy to me, and its chopperesque ergonomics pretty much guarantee it would be unrideable.\u00a0 \u00a0You can read more about it here: <a href=\"https:\/\/silodrome.com\/jrl-cycles-lucky-7-radial-engine-motorcycle\/\">JRL Cycles Lucky 7 \u2013 A Radial Engined Production Motorcycle<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The other motorcycle I found online with a 7-cylinder engine is the aforementioned Kawasaki.\u00a0 Here&#8217;s a video that does a good job describing it:<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"Kawasaki Triple (?)
