{"id":31332,"date":"2025-11-08T00:01:51","date_gmt":"2025-11-08T08:01:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/exhaustnotes.us\/blog\/?p=31332"},"modified":"2025-11-08T20:43:38","modified_gmt":"2025-11-09T04:43:38","slug":"purple","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/exhaustnotes.us\/blog\/index.php\/2025\/11\/08\/purple\/","title":{"rendered":"Purple!!!!"},"content":{"rendered":"<h6>By Joe Berk<\/h6>\n<p>I stirred up a few comments last week with that photo of Emma Booton&#8217;s 1972\u00a0 restomod Triumph Trident and its glorious purple color.\u00a0 This week, I visited the Buddy Stubbs Motorcycle Museum in Phoenix, Arizona (a wonderful place, and the subject of an upcoming ExNotes blog) when I happened to spot an original &#8217;72 Trident 750cc triple.\u00a0 \u00a0Its original purple paint was what Triumph called Regal Purple.<\/p>\n<p>You know, Emma was right.\u00a0 Roto Rooter purple, the color you see on her bike in the photo atop this blog, is much nicer.\u00a0 \u00a0That&#8217;s my opinion, and if you don&#8217;t agree with me, I am okay with you being wrong.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_31333\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-31333\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-31333 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/exhaustnotes.us\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/20251030_8311-600.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"529\" srcset=\"https:\/\/exhaustnotes.us\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/20251030_8311-600.jpg 600w, https:\/\/exhaustnotes.us\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/20251030_8311-600-300x265.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 709px) 85vw, (max-width: 909px) 67vw, (max-width: 984px) 61vw, (max-width: 1362px) 45vw, 600px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-31333\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">There are a lot of motorcycles in the Buddy Stubbs Museum, and each has a story.
