{"id":32177,"date":"2026-02-04T00:01:03","date_gmt":"2026-02-04T08:01:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/exhaustnotes.us\/blog\/?p=32177"},"modified":"2026-02-04T07:45:30","modified_gmt":"2026-02-04T15:45:30","slug":"rolling-art-a-magnificent-guzzi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/exhaustnotes.us\/blog\/index.php\/2026\/02\/04\/rolling-art-a-magnificent-guzzi\/","title":{"rendered":"Rolling Art:  A Magnificent Guzzi!"},"content":{"rendered":"<h6>By Joe Berk<\/h6>\n<p>The saying is &#8220;if I was any happier there would be two of me.&#8221;\u00a0 The photo above kind of captures the feeling.\u00a0 It&#8217;s how I feel every time I visit with the Cycle Garden team in Indio, California.<\/p>\n<p>When I first heard that one of Moe Moore&#8217;s custom Moto Guzzi motorcycles went for $40,000 to $50,000, I was shocked.\u00a0 Then I realized a new Harley full dresser inhabited the same realm.\u00a0 Per Google&#8217;s AI:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><em>A new top-of-the-line Harley-Davidson (CVO\u2122 model) generally costs between $45,000 and over $50,000 for the 2025\/2026 model years, with models like the CVO\u2122 Street Glide\u00ae and CVO\u2122 Road Glide\u00ae starting around $44,999 to $51,999.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Then the question became:\u00a0 Which one would I prefer owning?\u00a0 That&#8217;s a no-brainer.\u00a0 It&#8217;s the Guzzi.\u00a0 The one featured in this blog is a case in point.\u00a0 It&#8217;s not a stock motorcycle by any stretch of the imagination.\u00a0 But wow, would I ever love to own it!\u00a0 More than a Buell, even.<\/p>\n<p>Before I get into that, though, I need to tell you a little bit about <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cyclegarden.com\">Cycle Garden<\/a> and what they do, and what I&#8217;ve been doing with them.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_32204\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-32204\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-32204 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/exhaustnotes.us\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/20260130_8872-600.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"811\" srcset=\"https:\/\/exhaustnotes.us\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/20260130_8872-600.jpg 600w, https:\/\/exhaustnotes.us\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/20260130_8872-600-222x300.jpg 222w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 709px) 85vw, (max-width: 909px) 67vw, (max-width: 984px) 61vw, (max-width: 1362px) 45vw, 600px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-32204\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Moe Moore, head honcho at Cycle Garden. He&#8217;s a nice guy. All the folks at Cycle Garden are nice people.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>I am in the process of writing a series of How To articles for <em>Motorcycle Classics<\/em> magazine (and I&#8217;m loving every minute of it).\u00a0 I did the first on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.motorcycleclassics.com\/classic-motorcycle-repair\/buchanans-wheel-lacing-zm0z25ndzbro\/\">how to lace a wheel<\/a> (with help from good friend Kenny Buchanan of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buchananspokes.com\/\">Buchanan Spoke and Rim<\/a>).\u00a0 The next was on drum brake servicing, and it will appear in the March\/April issue of <em>Motorcycle Classics <\/em>(due out any day now).\u00a0 And I have three more that are written and awaiting publication (things have a long lead time in the print publication world).\u00a0 I&#8217;m really enjoying the plant visits, the interactions, the photographing, the writing, and the ego-stroking that accompanies seeing each of these pieces in print.\u00a0\u00a0I&#8217;m especially loving being around the vintage motorcycles.\u00a0 You&#8217;ve seen the <a href=\"https:\/\/exhaustnotes.us\/blog\/?s=Emma+Booton\">blogs on Emma Booton&#8217;s Triumph<\/a>.
