href=\"https:\/\/yamaha-enduros.com\/?fbclid=IwAR1nP74d6GbUdR4jfAfsynguId9KkcWJIuaBYa_XdmeKmkNa5OD6jKaCv88\">Vintage Yamaha Enduro<\/a> site.\u00a0 Gary alerted me to it a few days ago, I&#8217;ve enjoyed poking around on it, and you will, too.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_5207\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-5207\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a cool bikes. \u00a0 Spend some time here; you&#8217;ll be a better person for doing so!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>I&#8217;ve always admired those vintage Yamaha enduros.\u00a0 Gresh has one and it&#8217;s one his favorite motorcycles.\u00a0 I remember the maroon 360 Yamaha offered back in the early 1970s (I was still in college then).\u00a0 I always wanted one, but it&#8217;s an itch I haven&#8217;t scratched yet.\u00a0 Maybe someday.\u00a0 I&#8217;m still young.<\/p>\n<p>Good buddy Buffalo, a world-class artist who rode with us on one of the Baja rides, created a line art RX3 motorcycle and <a href=\"https:\/\/society6.com\/product\/rx3-csc-zongschen-cyclone_print?sku=s6-11099113p4a1v45&amp;fbclid=IwAR0weakAq4CledPtUpD2sZDq5HvGocFBkKxGeyya14LYVspgY5YMUKc2EB4#\">it&#8217;s available in several formats<\/a>.\u00a0 Buffalo loves riding and he loves his RX3.\u00a0 Hey, what&#8217;s not to like?<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_5208\" muey cool, and it&#8217;s from a muey cool dude.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Buffalo is a very cool guy who&#8217;s done some very cool things.\u00a0 We&#8217;ve written about Buffalo before here on the ExNotes blog.\u00a0 Buffalo also has a very cool blog (<a href=\"https:\/\/motofritz.com\/\">MotoFritz.com<\/a>), and it&#8217;s another I recommend you visit.\u00a0 Buffalo (along with his cousin and niece) recently toured Vietnam on motorcycles, and there are cool videos on the MotoFritz blog from that trip.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m going hunting.\u00a0 Deer this time, in Idaho.\u00a0 Good buddy J J and the Power Wagon on an earlier Baja expedition.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>I mentioned J recently when I described his new website (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.SierraMountainPasses.com\">Sierra Mountain Passes<\/a>), but J and I go back a few years.\u00a0 We first met when we were involved in manufacturing high performance sails for ocean racing yachts.\u00a0 Think a million bucks for a set little early for that and I am counting my chickens before the eggs have hatched).\u00a0 I&#8217;m really looking forward to this adventure.\u00a0 We may get a deer, or we may get skunked.\u00a0 Either way, it&#8217;s going to be fun.\u00a0 I&#8217;m thinking I&#8217;ll take my .300 Weatherby Vanguard.\u00a0 It&#8217;s way more power than I&#8217;ll need, but we&#8217;ll be in some rugged us of grizzlies in the area!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The 3FC is one of the world&#8217;s premier motorcycle events, and it&#8217;s sponsored by one of the world&#8217;s premier motorcycle clubs:\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sc-ma.com\">The Southern California Motorcycle Association<\/a>. \u00a0 As it turns out, the SCMA is one of our biggest ExNotes fans. \u00a0 They&#8217;ve run our ExNotes stories in the SCMA newsletter and they follow our zany ramblings daily.\u00a0 Good buddy Gonzo, their president, suggested that I join the festivities again this year for the 3FC19 rally, and you know what?\u00a0 <strong>I&#8217;m going.<\/strong>\u00a0 I&#8217;ll be on a new CSC RX4 (one from the very first shipment), and I&#8217;ll be blogging the hell out of the ride the entire way from Mexico through the United States and on up into Canada.\u00a0 And then I&#8217;ll do the same thing on the way home, for which I&#8217;ll take a different (to be determined) route.<\/p>\n<figure was a recent article on this bike in <em>Adventure Motorcycle<\/em> magazine, but I thought that review was a bit on the short side.\u00a0 (How about that?\u00a0 A review of a review!)\u00a0 You can
