Joe has a new story published on Motorcycle.com! Take a look when you get a chance. I’ve always wondered what it was like to ride one of these 3-wheeled wonders, and now I know.

I read it, and you know it was pretty good! Almost every other test was on the auto versions with carping and whining…you gave good account of the difference. Good work, and I am going to visit my local dealer to test the Slingshot, and see if I can get in and out of it! My guess it at 72 I am NOT the pretzel boy I used to be, and at 6 foot plus with long legs and arms prevents me from buying Lotus 7. I will let you know on this…
Thanks,
Terry,
It was a fun little car. It is a bit hard to get in and out of. Your butt is about 6” above the ground!
I think if you had balance problems or were not strong enough to confidently hold up a big bike the Slingshot would give you a breezy, outdoor experience.
Personally, I wouldn’t get the auto but if I was missing a leg I’d think otherwise.
